I exposed an POJO as web service using AXIS 1.2 RC1, TOMCAT and custom
(de)serializers When I try to access the web service I am getting an
axis
fault org.xml.sax.SAXException: Deserializing parameter 'in0': could
not find deserializer for type

Wow!. I did this and it fixed my problem. I didn't have to use the Eric's
patch that I mentioned in another thread yesterday. I am able to see the
child containers fine. Is this type of bean definition OK? I mean I just
want to make sure its not a hack or anything. If this is the right way

dealing with xsd:anyType, you just need some code to correctly type it. If you
are using Java you just need a series of if-then-else statements

type contains 4 java.lang.String and 1 java.lang.String Array. When I
generate the wsdd and wsdl files, no problem. The wsdl contains my complex
type schema (with 5 String and 1 String[]).
When I deploy this service
as I
expect them (as arrays, that is). I'd recommend taking a leap of faith and
trying out some clients against your WSDL.

remove the beanmapping and try again.

side beans work with simple beans. I do not want
to write wsdl and generate beans out of it to make things work.

on axis. One of the method parameters is a primitive boolean. I get the
following error thrown by Axis:
