I've tried using PlugPlayer to connect to LMS 7.7 using an iPhone and MacBook Pro. Neither could detect LMS through DNLA/UPnP. Is DNLA/UPnP working? Well... that's what I said: I've been using PP to test LMS and DLNA. Make sure your phone is on the same wlan as your computer. -- Michael

Some more Q the Linux LMS installer does it completely remove squeezeboxserver ,but retains settings ? Does it removes the squeezeboxserver user . I remeber the last name change in the midle of a beta, when we had to clean out all old cruft ourselves ? Way back i experimented with some options

Does it make sense to do the audio scans before the picture and video scans (i.e. do the fast stuff first to get some results and do the slower things later on)? Just configured my pictures folder as media folder and do realize that it takes an awfull long time compared to my music library. --
