I adore plants, gardening, you name it - I just have a few of them a bit
high up for convenient watering so was considering the globe. Charles won't
let me install rain drip irrigation inside the new house ...

I agree somewhat with Charles Barkley.
These guys should _not_ be role models for on field activity.
Vick is a very talented athlete, and a dog abuser.
That might make him a very good quarterback. But maybe not a good teammate.
And certainly not a role model.

I don't care.
If I like you a lot, I might politely listen. But as my siste

against EVERYTHING i believe in. i'd never be able to look
at my little sweetheart Lily the same... btw, check out her new

He is welcome to put his life back together, certainly the man has to make a
living...but in some other capacity than as a player. That is just too much a
"role model" position and

Well, that's not entirely true...we are pretty much told in the New Testament
to go out and proclaim the Good News. It's not something you are supposed to be
silent about, althoug
opps...forgot to add...A lot of Christians don't like it when you point out
that they are not really acting the way the Bible says Jesus would want us
to.

I killed an African Violet...any idea on how hard they are to kill?
I am convinced I could kill crabgrass just by putting it in a flower pot and
keeping it in my office.

I guess they work...I dunno. I kill everything that grows in the ground that
is in my care. I have a black thumb. Our latest plant has been getting the
aqua globe treatment and hasn't died yet, and it's been almost a month.
That's closing in a record for one of my plants.

Some of my wife's family used to get all preachy with me (and my
father-in-law). During a BBQ at my in-laws one day we got on the subject of
gay marriage...and it got ugly.
I was really disappointed in some of the comments made by my wife's family.
The discussion ended abruptly, with them gettin

I have one of these. Not the slap-chop, but one that comes apart into
three pieces "for easy cleanup"
It actually works, as long as you've got a solid surface to chop on.
