It's invitation only, and I don't think they are bringing any new people into

I just enabled Vista Dreamscapes on Vista Ultimate.
It is actually quite cool :)
It basically plays a full screen video on your desktop that somehow
takes up very little resources. Right now I have a video of a forest
waterfall. It's a novelty thing though, but I guess it can be quite
nice.

Yes, actually I did notice the file copying, because I have a Dual

disk, and I was moving data from my Raid 0 drives to the new hard

I have not noticed any improvements on my computer. Boot up screen actually
seems like it takes a few seconds longer. Outside of that, not much, time

Interesting. It's still only one scenario (all other scenarios are so close as
to make no odds) and other site's testing are not in agreement. It's nice to
know that performace has been improved that much, but

If you have VIsta, the Service Pack is almost a necessity. It improved
file copying in some cases by as much as 80%. This is, however, Still
slower than what the file copying speeds on Windows XP are.
This also includes all the fixes including all the graphics fixes for
Nvidia and ATI Cards under
Apparently you need a technet subscription. I did an Windows Update and
did not get the option to download. I think that I recall that they are
doing incremental releases for different flavors of Vista.
