With the dust covers you will have to drill each hole and place them
and bend them by hand. They are a bear to bend also. A trick I was
taught by Gilbert Propes (restoration guru) is to use picture frame wire
from a hobby shop. It bends much easier and will stay put just fine.

I believe there is a trim removing tool that will make this easier. It
somehow goes up under the trim and pulls it loose from the clip that is
holding it. I think you can get it at most auto parts stores. Good luck.

I'm no expert, but I just replaced my drums to discs and was told
I could easily go to 15's which I did. I understand if the upper control
arm was changed to tubular its possible to go to 17's. I think CHP
(chevy high performance) did an article on it. Anyone else know? :-Diane
When you are talking about 15s and 17s, that refers to the wheels rather
than the tires. You can presumably have a 17 inch wheel with a low-profile
tire that doesn't take up any more space than a 14 inch wheel with a higher
profile tire.

Yes you have to because you will then be putting the staple through the
predrilled hole in the dust shield (I've never tried to press the staples
through the thick rubber W/O a predrilled hole. ) then the inner finder and
bend them over with pliers on the inner fender side. The only two
