My 70 Nova is a little ole lady car and when I bought it the tires looked as
though they had very few miles on them. My brother in law needed some 14
tires for his rice burner pickup so I gave him a pair and he had them installed
on the front. It was less than a month before one blew out. I

and then again it may. GM dealers put it in new cars to fix small problems
under warranty. It's much easier than pulling the engine just to check the

My first thought would be that you could cut the filler neck with a hacksaw and
use a rubber hose to reinstall it if you can't get the tail pipes out of the
way. Some metal filings will be left in the tank that may be hard to remove

I have one sitting in my garage that I invested over $2k in several years ago
and I haven't been able to sell. It has about 10k miles on it. There is
someone out there that would like a correct numbers matching engine for a
restored car but they are difficult to find. I would like to install

combo for you. A friend recently swapped a 4 cyl diesel into a
truck. He used a 4L60 and an add-on(near $1000) ECU to control the
transmission.

Radio Shack has a filter that should correct the problem.
It has a power in and power out and 2 ground wires that are common and filters
out the 12 volts going to the radio. I think my noise was coming from the
alternator and distributor and it took care of the problem.

top coat it with epoxy primer. I would recommend that you sand it some first
to rough it up. They recommend their tie-coat-primer but I have noticed some

I like the 200r4 too - in theory. I just don't know anyone who is running
one. The fact that they are the same overall length as a Powerglide/TH350
should make the swap
While you are replacing the U-joints check to see how much side play is in your
yoke, the transmission may need a new bushing in the output shaft. This can be
caused by an out of balance driveshaft. Been their, done that.

There may be a date code stamped under the manafold. A-L (Jan-Dec) then day of

before coating it for the same reason, adhesion. I hope they coated it
