Mike,have you bought any front end parts for your 67 yet? If not,are you planning a spindle change? The only tall spindle I would consider would be the forged alum AFX units from ATS. These are the cat's meow but are very pricey at around $800 w/steering arms and they also require C5/C6 Corvette br

Yes, Larry. Be super careful. Compress it down "some"! to the point where it's loose. Loosen the Castle nut on the upper Ball Joint. Bang on the spindle and it will fall off the taper. Finish the loosening and remove the spring. Immediately un-tension the spring. Don't leave it in the spring compre
