The fuse has nothing to do with the brakes. Check the brake light switch on
the pedal bracket. The wires going to the switch maybe rubbing and grounding
out.
You could bypass the block and use an inline fuse. The short could be at one
of the bulb sockets. Try tracing the short with a probe
Looking at a Camaro in Illinois, about 100 miles west of Chicago.
Any good inspection people in that area?

Retorqueing after thermal cycling is a good idea but not brass nuts
once i put a new engine in my car, and then put anti-seize on the studs on
the lower exhaust manifold, and i too had the donut leaking problem, but it
was because it kept loosening up due to the anti-seize. - which in turn then
blow them out

You must have lost a ground while under the dash. Find it and you should solve
the gas gauge problem.
As for the brakes, where the booster and master cylinder both off the grand
prix? On the booster there is a shaft. They can be short or long. They don't
mix and match. A long shaft

other hole, but i could not get it to move into the other hole because it was
hitting on things, i put the whole booster/rod ass'y from the gran prix into
the car.
i used the booster, spindles, porportioning valve from
