I could be wrong about this, but my understanding of redundancy doesn't
include EtherChannel.
EtherChannel's main purpose is to create a larger aggregate pipe between
switches. The manner in which it operates might lend to the interpretation
that it can be used for redundancy, but it's not a

If you took the route exam recently, could you tell me

Actually, there is another simulator that you overlooked, the Simline2.
Which costs less than $1400. This simulator has S/T interfaces, so it's
perfect for those cheap 2500 series routers (you dont need any external
NT1s). .I can give you more information if you contact me offline,

I was also surprised that RAS had that many questions too. I remember the
number of questions in the routing exam fell in the range of 62-66. Good

Not explained in bits, but that is what I always tell ppl a clean way to do:
2 things: subnet mask, wildcard mask.
You should be well comfortable with what a subnet mask is.
So, take the host mask, 255.255.255.255.
When you want a wildcard mask, subtract subnet mask from the
host mask decimal by

Just go read RFC 2401-9 They will help you a lot.

There are three very popular simulators on the market.
The Adtran 550 or 800, Teltone, and Arca Emutel.
The Adtran is what is used in the CCIE lab and it is also the most
expensive. It is modular and very reliable. The Teltone and Arca have two
ports. I prefer the Arca because you can configure

FAQ, list archives, and
hi all:
i am just trying to understand x25. now i have a c3661 with serveral
nm-4T modules, so i get a x25 switching, hehe.
there is something wondering me, i use x25 route to create serveral swith
path:
x25 route 123456 int ser1/0
x25 route 234567 int ser1/2
x25 route 987654 int
I'm assuming that you entered something like this in a router:
ip route 63.182.182.182 255.0.0.0
where = an interface name or IP address of a neighboring
router.
If this is an accurate assumption when you do a show run you'll probably
see the following instead:
ip route 63.0.0.0 255.0.0.0
something more strange I can not ping R2 from R1! But I can ping R1 from
R2 without a x25 map. can Chairman Mao will tell my why? :-)
