It should work just fine. Haven't tested DHCP in 6.2
but have set up PIX outside interface up as DHCP
client in past. The only minor problem I see is that I
don't think there is a way to change the MAC address
if they restrict DHCP via MAC address, but that might
not effect you.

I recently installed the Aironet 350, however, I'm not expert.
It is a little confusing, the bridge can actually act as an access point in
addition to only being a bridge. The software for the products allows you
to set how the product will work.
Does this help? What are you trying to do? May

Thanks again Mark.
Right now I working on licensing with Cisco because I need to upgrade my PIX
code to 6.2 which supports PPPoE. Then I will give it a try.
I was trying to get it working without the Enhanced DSL at this time.

If this is true then it represents an even worse devaluation of the CCIE

Cisco itself will be pumping out CCIE's with as little as 3 months

I assume you are referring to the fact that your DSL is PPPoE DSL (You have
to install the EnterNet DSL software on your computer if you want to access
the DSL Gateway and connect to the internet (which also means you use a User
Name/Password combination to connect) correct!?!
If so,

I believe the SX refers to short wavelegth for the GBIC's. I don't recall
an option for the 42. Do you have part numbers? If I had to take a shot in

Hello All
I have a core switch specification and I am confused with what module
exactly I have to order , the specification is :
1 * core switch
1 * Supervisor Engine III
with L3 with 24/100/1000
2 * 6 port Gigabit Ethernet (GBIC)
1 * Redundant PSU
42 * SX port
the second core switch
1 * cor
In it's most basic sense, an AP usually has clients (PC/laptops) connected
to it for access to the network and a bride connects networks together.
