If anyone actually went and read the article by Larry
Seltzer, you would have discovered that he refered to
the MCSE certification, not the CCIE. I was ticked at
Seltzer at first, but now that I see what he actually
wrote, I agree with him. I got my MCSE in a box of
CrackerJack !! It has taken
Whooo Hooo. In and out in an hour. Not so bad,
seeing as this was my second attempt. I probably
should have studied for the first attempt. I almost
made it the first time, then I cracked a book, went
back 3 weeks later and got it taken care of.
Here comes the Lab. Thanks to all for valued co
If I remember correctly, each VLAN is it's own subnet.
And therefore, if each vlan is it's own subnet, you
can only have 254 devices attached to each subnet.
You may wanna check that on CCO.

Frame-relay has the ability to determine the DLCI #
automatically, but don't trust it. Complete the path,
why . as you can see by your testing ... it
worked !!! :-)

Simply put, the frame was Received, reviewed but not
copied into the receiving devices buffers. Once the
frame travels back to the source device, it will be
considered as corrupt and resend the entire frame
again.

I performed the very same search and received
completely different results. 904 Cisco positions
Nationwide. That is that wonderful nation known as
the United States of America. Received only 212 Cisco
positions outside U.S.

The key here is Nationwide. 905 jobs nationwide using
just the extremely general word "Cisco" ???
That is horrible, and I shall go cry after I finish
this responce. Juniper only having 46 is not bad for
such a new "core" producer. Cisco has been around for
over a decade and we got 905 !!! :-(
I agree. Cisco, like Novell, teaches you HOW things
actually work rather than simply teach you their
products and their way only.
If you achieve CCIE written or lab, that knowledge is
transferable to almost any WAN platform in almost any
enviornment. Granted, the current and future salary

Just sqeaked by, but I passed !!! 1 more to go for
CCNP then the hard stuff begins !! :-)
I found the test to be a bit misleading. Many of the
questions did not ask "enough" of a question to
actually give a difinitive answer, and 1 question on
x25 mappings the answer WAS NOT EVEN LISTED !!
HEY !!! You got a problem with drinkin beer and
pickin yer toes ?? :-)
Depending on what you "see" when you visit his site,
you should know. You should definately talk with some
of the other employees of this company first.

You have obviously never heard of, or attempted the
Cisco CCIE Lab Exam. I found my MCSE in a Cracker

I don't know about that, because you also have to use
"dialer in-ban" with Async modem configurations.

Took it myself on Thursday. Was in and out in 25
minutes, and that includes the 68 question survey at
the end. So far, the easiest Cisco test I have ever
seen. I read both Cisco Press and Sybex and Cisco is
definately better. The Sybex book goes along with

ISL Trunking is Cisco Proprieitary and is the perfered
method if used within a completely Cisco switched

The difference between the 2 is this ...
ISL actually encapsulates the frames traversing the
Trunk, which is to say it packages the VLA

a recent influx in people attempting and passing CCNP

hundreds of people on this board ...
Anyway, CCNA, CCNP, CCDP ... CCIE Written, this means
nothing. It is good, takes a good amoumt of w

If you understand subnet masking well, route
summarization is no different. It is, by all
practical purposes, the same thing. The best way to
check your self is to break it all down to Binary.
The bits with the common factor will lead you to the
point of reference for your summarized route.

Yes, but what you fail to realize is that Recruiters
do not care about you nor do they even read your
resume most times. All they care about is stuffing
you into a job they think you are "Perfect" for simply
based on the fact that one word of your resume matches
whats on their client request.
