Hello,
I have three 2500 routers (2x2503 and 1x2514) with the budget of 1000$ I am
planning to buy some more routers for my CCIE home lab. Which routers or

Every suggestion will be appreciated

I love this site. I had no idea that the failover from one sup to another

When you say failover at 2-5 seconds...are you talking about from one Sup
mod to another?..or are you talking about convergence in the network? 2-5
seconds makes me think of the sup mods and 90 seconds makes me think of
spanning tree.

I have to ask what you are basing that statement on. I'm not trying to

would indicate a change in Duplex when set to 100 full on each end. Are you
suggesting that 100/half is the way to go with this?

You can recover the configuration using snmp (you need the write community,
of course), and if you haven't used md5 passwords for enable, it would be
easy to decode it. I have done it once. If you have used md5 passwords, you
can save the configuration to txt and then perform a recovery password.
