FYI- Not sure if it is for sale, but pretty sure there is a 43 sitting on
the hard in Gallows Bay on St Croix. Been there for several years. Always

but travel all over. Sometimes a small run like yours would be possible
and perhaps cheaper on a dead-head run to somewhere else. Did an
incredible job for me from Lake Lanier to Hessel

On several nasty nights I used my hefty Wichard snatch blocks for midship
tether (to keep me off the dock, attached to a neighboring spring piling)
and other times for springlines. Just clip 'em on to wherever you need on

Does any 37+ owner with a Universal M35 and maxprop feathering three blade
know their prop pitch? Mine is set at 22 degrees but last year I could not
get beyond 5.5 knots. PYI manual specs that pitch. It looks entirely too
flat to me. Help?!?

Seems I could handle that from the helm better.

shortened in the aft cabin, an aft-facing duct just over the engine
compartment.

35-3. I tired of multiple attempts at torching my boat with the alcohol

Last...make sure you have clear unobstructed water drainage to the port and
starboard lateral gutters. I had a bunch of gray gunk damming the flow of

Our boatyard manager (graduate of Great Lakes School of Wooden
Boatbuilding) told me Cetol should be coated with at least 2 coats of
Captain's Varnish (or similar?). Says Cetol finish by itself is too soft
for his liking. Has worked great for me...

I've replaced all my fluorescent T-5 bulbs with LEDs that fit in the old
bulb receivers. Bought em online at mingsmark.com for about $20. Really

Haven't heard anyone mention the Scheafer rope clutches that are on my
recently purchased old 35 mk3, apparently as original equipment. I
removed, cleaned and tried them out and they seemed to hold at least to my
