detect the array and the machine works correctly, however, it is not able to
find the HP DDS drive on the secondary channel of the SCSI array card.

I have just read on http://news.gnome.org/gnome-news/977324592/ that
starOffice fonts went GPL when StarOffice became OpenOffice under GPL.
May be these fonts could be extracted and added to the mandrake
distribution as so far the problem for Linux is to find a set of decent
good fonts...

I understand retail is difficult, but beware not to be sued for misleading

install sshd by default on ALL machines, the same way as telnet is installed on
ALL machines.
For an extra 100k sshd has a very small footprint for so much benefits.

Yes it could be unstable, but it could be in the cooker too, as the cooker
kernel is the one required by Livid, and DVD does not exist standard on
Linux...
Also, you would get MAJOR publicity by getting sued by Hollywood for
shipping a distro (7.2) using DeCSS...

It seems that the folks at Mandrake, are concerned over the fact that the
helix mdk RPM do not follow the Mandrake distribution specifications.
Yes they install on Mandrake, but they break some of the automatic things
that make Mandrake.
Also Mandrake has its own updater, and it would be benefit

I have installed freetds (www.freetds.org) which is a Sybase/MS-SQL
access library. When combined with PHP it allows to access data in a
MS-SQL database through the php sybase calls. It works great exept in a
few cases. freetds is stil 0.50.
