had a 40Gig HD that I wanted to create
a 15Meg /boot partition. Well I couldn't do it. I could go from 0 to
7Megs but the next step took me to over 200Megs. Well 7Megs is too
small for me so I had to go with a huge /boot partition. What a waste
of space.

uptime or top provides the info plus more. If you want you can cat
/proc/uptime and do the calculations yourself.

Other than that the expert install I did seemed to go okay. Some of the
wording didn't seem quite right ie the very first 'thank you message.'
Where did the supermount option go? I normally disable this option and
didn't see it durning the install.

Is there any way I can get more acceleration out a mouse in Gnome? In
KDE I can set my acceleration to 14 out 20 and it is too my liking. But
with Gnome the scale is maxed and it is too slow.

Installed again from ftp.sunet.se today, 4 Apr, without much problem. Left
my /home directory intact. I can start up KDE as root but it will not do
anything past the splash screen. Just sits there with a blue screen. Same
as what sawfish does. Blackbox comes up and so does gnome.

grabbed the latest cooker last night and installed no problems. Did a test
print during the install but now when I try to print, even with dir |lpr, the
system locks up hard. Only way out is a reboot.

told it was there.
Today I synced up with cooker and did an installed using expert. I looked
through the whole list and did not see it.

I did two installs the other day, yesterday for cooker on ftp.sunet.se. Both
times I did not see the option to select to install glimmer. The second
install was Expert and I looked through everything. Don't know where it was
hidden. Installed it by hand after.

Linux useful to more people. Again, as I said before I'm no developer
and I truly wish I could help out more. I am by no means disappointed with

factor is not a huge number? delete any number that is there if it is

in case it matters /etc/modules.conf has an entry for alias
scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi.
after the boot lsmod tells me that

tried the same thing with a fresh install of 7.2 and was a no go. As
root it was sort of usable when X was running but as a regular user the
kpanel would crash almost immediately.
Guess I wouldn't recommend going this route
