I tried to do install-gui-benh on my imac 400 to no avail. I got the
same result as with the normal mdk kenel. The only option here seems
Xpmac. I did not yet have the time to do the installation. More info on

A graphics installation did no work as I posted before. Only text works on my machine.
Do I have edit the XF86Config-4 again ? Mouse is usbmouse and PS/2 ? So I start from init3 and then startx, only in Gnome or can I also use KDE ? I am confused here.

Only text install works fine for kernel 2.4 with PM 7600. In KDE after clean
install with option 1button bus mouse, the mouse does not work.

I am experiencing serious problems. I cannot get into the gui anymore, I
don't know why. I did not do anything special. Each time after logging in
and typing startx, my screen goes black and nothing happens. I rebooted for
5 times, I waited a long time for KDE to start, but nothing works.
