Just checking if anyone else is seeing this or not. I did the Web update some
days ago and now whenever I launch an app Dabo seems to think the files listed
below have not been updated and asks whether I want to download new versions.

I’d like to get an idea as to how many people are relying on web update to
update their Dabo code. The reason is that I’m thinking of retiring the server
that handles web update, and wanted to make sure that it isn’t going to be too
impactful.
I’ve looked through the logs, and it seems that the

A question on the Web Update process. I am running 0.8.2 rev ~3777. When I
check for updates it says none are available. Yet 0.8.3 was just released with
a rev of 3793. Am I missing something?

For some reason - I tried to investigate a couple years abo - the post-commit
hook
script doesn't always run. It mostly keeps up though so I've tagged it low

current svn revision, which means that after updating you should all
see '0.8.4' in the About screen.

saying the Framework had been updated to 3911 and to restart the app.
I did that but the About dialog says it is at 3908. Rerunning the update
produces the same result. Any clues as to what is happening?

The short story: I deleted the dabo Runtime directory and then reinstalled
the runtime. Now web update doesn't perform!
The long story:
I Installed the Windows installation of Dabo Runtime and the first time I
ran DaboDemo it called web update. Everything worked. I then used SVN to
update

it to work I searched these archives and found I needed to move the
location of the Locale folder and run web update to handle the 'no
attribute _extraStyle error.
Based on that success I installed it on my main Ubuntu mac

Sorry to have to use a new thread to respond, but somehow I managed to
delete your response so completely that it does not even show in
Seamonkeys trash folder.
I did use sudo to install Dabo and using sudo does indeed allow me to
successfully run Web updates. For now at least I will leave
