I've had this many times before when copying settings from one image to
another, but not like this...
Somewhere in the middle of editing a series of images I added a new
instance of the Exposure module to underexposure certain parts of the
image. It was correctly added with the name Exposure 1
keystone is acting weird. Often when I click it just ends my instance. I
click keystone again and an entirely new instance appears in the history
stack! Sometimes it doesn't want to move the bubble at all. is this
happening to anyone else or am I special?

Demosaic /colour smoothing is on the basic operations tab. Profiled denoise
you already know.
Sharpening you know as a well.
Raw denoise too.
Colour profile you can switch using the input colour module.
Note: I don't care much about luma noise

I got usable results on the old woman/young woman poster shot by using:
1) two invocations of the equalizer - one using the denoise preset but
increased to a mix of 1.25, and the other using the sharpness preset
with a mix of 1.0
2) very slight touch of raw denoise
3) enabled defringe module
