not reasonable. Let us roll with the KISS strategy, let everyone get
onboard with the Git philosophy. All the advanced commands can be learned
as needed.

It is not really a problem with Git itself.
In any case, I will ping Infra to see if they can help.
Thanks,
Om

If this is not sufficient, what exactly are we expecting?

Agreed. I just wanted to check.

I see the same issue as well.

Thanks,

Anyone has an objection to this? If no one objects, I will ask Infra to go
ahead and make all the git repos read-write.
Thanks,
Om

I dont know how official GitHub mirrors are. And as I said we need to
check if we can have whiteboards on github instead. Notice how no other
Apache project has whiteboards in git.
Perhaps the mentors can give us some direction here?

ch pads where committers do work temporarily
before moving them into appropriate repos.
I believe branches for committers with sub folders for their individual
projects should suffice.

Yes, we need to take the one time git to make things a bit more organized.

I could live with leaving the whiteboard in SVN.
This is probably why no other project has whiteboards in git.
Thanks,
Om

I vote for creating a branch for each committer under whiteboard. Anyone
else want to chime in?
