Hi All,
Hope you all are doing good!
It's been more than a year since I last contributed to Stratos as a GSoC
project. I would like to start contributing again.
I liked the idea of "Ignite Architecture". Just wondering if there are any
tasks that are planed on which I can try my hands?
Thanks,
Thanks Gayan! I am glad to hear this.
I would be happy to contribute further to Stratos.

Hi All,
I am planning to add support to add tag to AWS load balancer which will
help identify which AWS load balancer is for which cluster.
But now as this will not be a part of GSoC how should I go about it? Do I
need to discuss it over the mailing list or maybe create an issue in JIRA
for this?

In project AWS Load Balancing Support for Stratos, one feature to add

Hi All,
I am modifying the REST API for adding domain mappings, to include support
for cluster id. I have made code changes. These changes are in
org.apache.stratos.rest.endpoint.
So just wondering how can I replace just this binary in Stratos and test
the API? Instead of building and replacing t

Hi All,
I am currently testing AWS Load Balancer extension which is under
development. I want to test the extension for scale up and scale down.
As per my understanding, scaling up and scaling down is done based on the
auto-scaling policy used. So this will act on the real work load. I was

4. Implementing logic for getting in flight request count.
I would appreciate any thoughts on next steps.

Imesh, Udara and I had a hangout session today.
We discussed progress of the project till now. Had a demo of whatever is
done till now which included running aws extension and see if configure
method of extension gets called on deploying application on ec2.
I am currently using AWS Java

were few errors related
to my code changes.
In this week I will continue to test the extension and make necessary
changes in order to act on topology events properly and create and
configure aws load balancers.

Hi All,
I have setup Stratos on one ec2 instance and MB on another ec2 instance.
When I try to deploy ec2 application using sample script, application does
get deployed and I can see ec2 instance being created for cartridge.
But in wso2carbon.log I can only see messages till Member initialized.
M
ation with MB, CEP on different EC2
instances.

Thanks Gayan.
Adding a new dependency for httpclient-4.2.5.wso2v1.jar resolved the
problem.

Hi Imesh,
As discussed in the last hangout. I tried if we can get instance id using
public IP of the ec2 instance. It is indeed possible to do this.
I have committed code for this in the client for AWS API [1].
So just wondering if this is what we should use instead of making changes
to expose i
gt; You can use the same way.
