Are you absolutely sure that the SB2 is connected to the network? It often says it is but is in fact lying. Try manually reconfiguring the connection and see if it still claims to be connected. When it is connected, what's its IP address? If it can't get one via DHCP, it allocates itself one i

Hi, Has anyone got a nice solution to syncing files from PC to PC? All my encoding & library are residing on a Laptop, but have slimserver running on a desktop. Any new ripping saves locally on Laptop but have now got to a point where I struggle to keep them synced properly doing this manually.

SB only works with WEP in "shared key" mode, some routers/APs (such as my old SMC barricade) only support "open" mode. It's possible that the firmware update either reset it to open, or disabled shared (it's seen as even less secure than regular WEP). Take a look in the router setup for anything r

Is it possible to use slimserver on my mac to stream to my shoutcast server that's on a server with a lot more bandwidth..that way i could remote control and have friends listen as well + not have to worry about streaming issues do to slow home internet connection. I have tried searching the forum
