It does not work. Somebody changed comments to comments_value.
This conflicts with hash handling in line 169 in Search.pm. That
function will never search for like %BLAH% but will always use the
hash.
This is definitely a bug.

Cracked it (I hope) !
I changed the buffer size in the Network options in Slimserver from 3
to 9 and all seems OK. I thought this was only supposed to relate to
Internet radio.
When I played a recorded, 24 bit WAV file all was Ok beforehand too. So

Yes I am certain. I've never modified the code and 6.5.1 never showed
the AM/PM symbols in h:mm 12 hour format.
Ok, we did do a change to localize the time/date formatting. But I would
not have expected it to change anything if you're using SlimServer with
the language set to EN.

can't get any results, no matter what I search for in comments.
Doesn't matter if I search for a partial or an exact string. The
comments are definitely in the database.

I rather like the Logitech logo
Flame me if you like, but on a purely cosmetic level it looks better

I've had to change the channel used by the wireless devices in my
network. My SB2 is acting as a wireless bridge for one of my TiVos.
Don't I need to change it to use the same channel as the other devices?

(The incoming/outgoing are from the perspective of my server)
I believe things have quiet down (should I be touching wood right
now?). Not easy to monitor this one. At least all incoming/outgoing
statistics seem to look ok for

It seem I have confused 'CIDR: 66.249.64.0/19' with
66.249.65.0/19? and blocked 66.249.65.0/19.
Maybe I should have blocked a bigger range anyways it is still

The Squeezebox and Transporter seem even more the deal now (though I
realize with a HD, the MS750 is after a slightly different market).

The hardware in these devices is uber-simplistic. The biggest design
costs come from developing software. No one in the audio market, pro or
otherwise, has software to rival Slim's.
