I've just recieved my Nokia E65 mobilephone, which support WiFi. First
thing on my to-do list, was trying out the handheld skin... Yes, it
works like a charm! It is fantastic as a supplement for the normal
remote, and the gadget-bling-bling-show-off effect is astonishing :-)

If I had to go from only those pictures, I'd guess SB2 because I think I
can make out the shape of the 320x32 VFD glass near the IR sensor. Also,
it's silver and I think we only did SB2s in that color.

Lame as it is, think of it as a gentleman's agreement. There are
utilities that can remove it for you. I don't think it escaped Apple
that they could have simply used an opaque number to reference your
entry in their customer database, or even put that number in a

Did you run a permissions verification after the download? I do that
routinely after any program download. I like a program called Onyx for
an all purpose utility. I think the site is Titanium software. You
shouldn't have trouble finding it and it's free.

The SB3 does not have the processing power to decompress a 96KHz FLAC
file. If you transcode to FLAC compression level 0 in Slimserver, the
stuttering should stop.
Without stuttering, you will still have a problem - the SB3 does not

Slimserver 6.5.1 on Qnap has just 'lost' my SB3 (I can browse to SS
from my laptop), and remote commands to SB3 aren't recognised / acted
upon.
SB3 continues to play a radio station, but I can't stop it, turn it
off, or change volume.

I looked at the properties of both downloaded Linn files and (in-line
with what you said) the one that plays fine has a Sample Rate of
44.1khz. The problem one was 96khz.

remote switches to sending DVD signals while the receiver thinks it's
in CD mode.
The only problem is that the DVD signals go to the DVD player, not the
SB3. Oh well. I'll look into changing my setup around.

Should one disable anti-virus software when installing slimserver?
Also, has anyone else noticed that, once installed, the slimdevices
side of the slimserver window flashes every few seconds. I don't know
if flashing is the best description but it's as though the window
keeps
