anyone has any suggestions on how to most effectively migrate playlists?
I have a Linux system, it keeps drive names in the playlists as a
reference. I guess I should have thought about it when naming my
drives... :D

First, read this:

page, note that none of the players released since the Transporter will
work at all with 6.5.4. So if you have a Boom, Due

Net test relies on timers in the operating system to generate the test

this causes the limitation.
It will be different on Touch/Radio with 7.6 and should be more

Hm, now that I try this again I can't seem to actually play anything
from WiMP anymore.
I still don't see your symptoms (it loads the playlist just fine), just
actual streaming doesn't seem to work. It did tonight when I tried this

Nope... that's the way it should work, and I thought it did work that

I strongly suspect you never actually had the Touch running with 7.3.3.
It may have been running off its internal server, or off of
mysqueezebox.com.

Same problem here. The Boom and Radio play Rhapsody but the Classic
doesn't output audio though I can select tracks. I upgraded to 7.5.5.
My classic is unfortunately not accessible so it would be a real pain
to connect an Ethernet cable to check if bridging is enabled. Is there
any way to verify

bugs fixed ). 7.6 may be to much " beta" but it has better performance
on low spec hardware. if 7.6 works all is well but it has the potential
to not work at all ( it is an experimental beta ) all plugins is not yet

Hi all;
I'm running squeezebox server 7.3.3 on a Buffalo Linkstation NAS
(HS-DHGL8C3).
Until recently, I've been using a squeezebox boom and also a Roku M1001
accessing the NAS wirelessly via Squeezebox server,
Apart from odd drop outs, it's all held together well.
I've just bought a SB Touch
I use album RG on all pop/rock, since that's been afflicted by the
'loudness war' and needs 6/7/8 dB knocked off. Never needed for
classical.

No, never any problems with dropouts with wired Squeezeboxes (SB2 &SB3),
but problems with the Receiver/Controller setup on WiFi. This led me
(some time ago) to check the wired streaming rates to establish what
rates the AP could expect to receive the data stream on the Ethernet
port. I was surpri
