is near the router downstairs, I've also wired it up
instead of using wireless for it. It still says there's a slight drop
off at the 5Mbps network test so I need to do some testing on throughput
(not that it would ever affect the SB3 at that rate, even with FLAC).

Perhaps the SB3 firmware corrupted? Installing a newer release of
Squeezecenter (finished 7.3.3 release, build 27044) then would have
caused it to push out the latest firmware version 127 which would
overwrite the previous corrupted one.

don't see why it wouldn't work with a standard USB external drive
though. Only thing I can think of is to check if Windows is assigning
the USB drive the same drive letter as an existing mapped network share
(it does happen sometimes), if you have any mapped network shares that
is.

In the Squeezecenter web interface you can move items in the playlist
around by dragging and dropping them. It can only be done once the item
is in the playlist, but you just hover over it so it's highlighted and
drag it to the position you want.

I had the same issue, but it disappeared following upgrading to 7.1 and
the new Controller firmware. Has your SBC updated its firmware? I found
I had to restart SqueezeCenter a couple of times before the SBC would
see there was a firmware update.
