Here's a simple question: is the SqueezeBox read to use out of the box? Assuming I already have a wireless network and SlimServer installed, do I have to do any "tinkering" before I hear music coming out of my speakers?

jpj, rest assured there is an alarm clock, with snooze, on the Nokia N800. It's easily accessible in, I believe, the Utilities menu, as in the Nokia 770. Don't be hassled by 3rd party software when it's built-in.
