I have just download tagrename 3.2 and it wont let me add artwork to
FLAC's or OGG's.
When i hit F5 to edit the tags, the artwork options are greyed out.

chuckiebear, i think you are mistaken mate :)
I think you are confusing *Folder* Art with *File* Art.
tagrename will download, add and display Folder art for all file
types, but it cant actually embed artwork into the actual files for OGG
or FLAC.

I just rip with EAC to FLAC then get my artwork with Album Cover Art
Downloader.
I have never really have any problems with the tags EAC generates.
Sometimes trancode to OGG or MP3 for portable use with Foobar2000.

Actually it does say 7.0 - This is the latest alpha pre-release (yes,
we really mean it) development version of SlimServer. , which is what
it used to say for 6.5b.
But it also say's that it's 6.5b thats headed torwards official
release soon.

I just started using my PSP with Slimsever. I use the handheld skin and
actually find the PSP nicer than my PDA as the screen is much bigger.
What skins do people use here for the PSP?

it would work better on the Sony PSP? It works 'ok', the
main issues are with the screen layout. For example, the bar that runs
accross the bottom (with Server/Player option) goes right across the
middle of the screen.

They should also consider the fact that if they give away an SB3 for use
before the Transporter starts shipping, they the person with a
transporter hits the problems with 6.3.1 and 6.5b, it could put them
off and that 30 refund policy might just start getting used.

best Beta i have tried yet, all of my issues are resolved it seems
(although i have only been using it for a day).

recommend something very simple, but often simple = crap. A
good foolproof interface to a decent ripping engine would be good (kind
of like Nero's Smart Start).
Ogg would be good too, as a few friends of mine need gappless
playback.

Same here, my girlfriend loves our SB3. In fact she bought it for me.
She demo's it to our friends more than i do! (although she would not
have the slightest idea how to rip a CD or set up slimserver).

from using them. The last 6.5 beta was even worse.

Another thing with 6.3.0...
If you have a CUE and Image file, The almum is shown twice. Once for
the CUE and tracks within that CUE, and again for the Image file.

OK, Now i have turned my firewall (zonealarm) back ON it seems to have
worked!!!
I am happy, but very confused to say the least. It worked for weeks
without zonealarm running, yet now it seems to need it. What on earth

I agree that giving out software is probably pointless, given the nature

What i want is this;
Automated copying of new/modified files to my second HDD. If i delete
my master files, i dont want my backup files deleted. However, i do
want my _modified_ files copying over. Can robocopy do this?

its already compressed. Just a simple solution with folder syncing and
preset times (over night).
