it would be nice to just go to one player and switch them all off. Even doing this from the web interface requires selecting each player and then power. Also I realise there is a sync option to power them on/off together, but I don't always want every player to power on together. -- twynne

Excellent suggestion - I'd overlooked that one. Because my players are (almost) always sync'd, Power Save does the job. All I have to do is hit Pause when leaving home. Power Save should do the rest. Thanks!!! -- twynne

Actually I may have just stumbled on the deciding factor - the SB3 has an infrared receiver, so can be controlled by my existing universal remote. Presumably the Duet Receiver does not? I certainly don't see it mentioned in the specs... -- twynne
