All I'd look for in an SB4 is a bit more horsepower to decode DTS/AC3
converted to Flacs at their highest compression rating.

It's really difficult to try to come up with improvements to the SB3.
I'm not an audiophile and my ears will never let me be one, so I'm
quite content with the sound as it is. I also understand why SD picked
a VFD over an LCD, which is the right decision IMO.
My one complaint is the fact that
I'd just like to see a slightly improved and up-to-date sb4. Maybe with
24/96 support, now that HD becomes more popular. I'm sure the Slim
techies would have some other tweaks they'd like to make too.
And then they can sell the sb3 at Wal-Mart for $150 :-)

Someone mentioned the Squeezebox Duet in the French forums. Its

I hope it keeps some basic analog out - I use the SB3 in the home gym to
drive Logitech Z4s and with Digital only I'd be rather stuck for that
scenario!
Would like to see some sort of speaker control (eg so I can power
on/off the Z4 automatically with the SB, or power up, if needed, the
Z-5500
I would love to buy a SB3 but see that the release is now 2 years past
and think I should wait for a SB4. Can anyone advise?

An ex of mine took a photography class where the teacher insisted that
digital cameras were a total waste of money: you buy them and within a
year there is something new and better, so you should just spend $400
on a film camera and film so you don't waste money on that digital
stuff.
