Have you tried taking the batteries out and trying to power them one while plugged
in?
Sometimes a battery can be so dead that it sucks a lot of power to the point
that there is not enough to power on.

I tested this last night, and it works fine on a System 8.1 Duo 280c. I just
wish they would pivot the track ball. :)

I subscribed to this list
idea if this works on less than a 9 system? If you don't
know, I'll give it a whirl later.
Any additional software requirements?
Thanks!

Perfoma. Or maybe I was just
really happy when the Duo stared picking up on the DSL network, and did Appletalk.
Now that was cool.
Thanks for the advice on this one.

This may sound like an odd question, but is there a program out there that lets
you rotate the screen 90 degrees?
The idea here is you have a laptop the size of a book. It would be nice to open
and read from it as you would a book.
Thanks!

Greg,
It's ages since my last Duo was gone, but here's what I can remember:
a) If you have system 8.0 or 8.1, they include OT 1.2.
>> May have to try my copy of System 8.1... seems a bit extreme though.
b) If you have 7.5.5 or 7.1, you can install OT 1.1.1 and then OT 1.1
. Free is good, but if it wasn't, where did you buy it?
Thanks!

night).
I have yet to get a 7.5 system to talk to a appletalk network.
Hopefully getting this Duo 280c to talk to the 9.22 system will be easier than my
Newton 2000 has been. :)
Take care!
