Ted The DTF is only available in DATA AFSK mode. I use that mode both for PSK, Olivia and RTTY. The only practical difference I can see between DATA A and DATA AFSK is that in DATA AFSK you can use either the normal filter or the DTF. Since going from one K3 data mode to the other flips sideband

all that info is in the owners manual (pg 40 in mine), if you have the KAT3, both ant 1 & 2 go through it (although the L-Network is switch to Tx ant while is transmitting). If you have the KXV3, you can have an additional RX only ant on that - it does not go through the KAT3. Not quite sur
