An important point about having any potential noise source in the shack is that specific installation, cabling, grounding, shielding, antennas, antenna locations, etc., etc., have a HUGE effect on the amount of noise heard. That's why I go out of my way to avoid such potential noise generators.

Left k2 hooked during storm now acts funny. Have the k2 with amp and tuner in ec2. Tuner tunes but leds on kat100 don’t light up. Also shows hi curr on screen. KAT100 shows error code E243. When kpa100 switched something starts clicking one of the relays not sure which one yet. kat2 tuner shows
