You can plug it into the rear mic jack and use it as-is - the 1/4 inch
headphone plug can either be plugged into the front panel headphone jack or
plugged into the rear Phones
I have a KAT100-1 with serial cable. Firmware 1.04. Works prefectly. Some
small scratches on the left side, otherwise clean. $200 includes Priority
Mail + insurance to North America. I can take paypal or whatever. Email

It is noticeable on 2m, using an EME array that is about 50ft from the rig.
There is a combination of azimuth and elevation in which the array looks
directly at my shack and under those circumstances the noise

line. Immediately afterword the cable modem was smoking (and hot to the

drive the tuner - apparently from static discharge from the antenna. In this
case, the KPA100 diodes have failed. The KAT2 diodes appear to
