Hi Steve, I checked the solder joints too when I was testing continuity on the jack itself. All looks OK. Not sure what else can be wrong at this point. Plug is OK, jack is OK, paddle is good, and the jack itself looks to be soldered well onto the main board. I'm at a loss... 73 de James

I went through the CONFIG menus to see what might have changed while in SSB. I found DUAL PB had APF on. I was unable to turn it off while in SSB, so went back to CW mode turned the APF off (nor) and returned to SSB and all was normal. Full output. I have confirmed you can only turn APF
