Its not difficult to understand its just annoying. Essentially we're

difference is that when operating cross band split you're going to have

What would be slick is to see the I/O board with a PCM2902 on it as

Where are these caps? I see them on page 28 of 52 on the schematics but
where do they physically live in the unit. I assume they are on the main
DSP board. Also as far as the grounded 1uF cap are you talking about the
lil decoupling nugget they had sitting there? Guess it couldn't hurt...

I'm having a hard time finding where these changes are. Were these changes

Just to be sure...
I've got a 50uV signal being injected into ANT1 of the KAT3 and a dummy
load connected to ANT2. I hear the signal on the main RX at S9 and
heard the signal on the SubRX (listening to the dummy load) at about

My best fun was when I talked our big CW guy from using the K1 rather
than my K3... His comment was life is too short for QRP. A few hours
of coaxing later and he was breaking pile ups with the 7W from the K1.
The look of amazement every time someone answered him was priceless!

You may have had the CW decoding threshold set to high...

Ok I guess I'll throw my hat in too. This FD I started off with the K3
getting placed in the serious operators tent while the play rig was
down in the gazebo for our 2A.
The K3 with its newly fitted KRX3 treated us pretty good. One thing we
did find is that it didn't take a whole lot to get
Is there a place somewhere that provides the drawings of the Fabs so
that one can look at the schematic and then find the part w/o digging
into the boards?
