Over the weekend, the index on the Z axis of one of our routers decided to stop working. I checked the cables and can't find a fault. It is connected to a Mesa 5i25/7i77 combo, and I believe the encoder is a Renco RCH20D. Anyone have any suggestions about diagnosing and fixing the problem? --

I've been using slic3r with MACH. It's worked well with an extruder instead of a router mounted on my CNC router. I think there now is an Octoprint for the Beagle. I've ordered a kickstarter Replicape for my Beagle. They claim Octoprint works with it. We'll see.

It may depend on several things. I got an HP 7800 SFF and the latency looked pretty good, until I started using a custom usb device with it (necessary for my setup), and then I started getting realtime errors while running linuxcnc. Switched to a Dell 745 and have had no such problems. Moses
