didn't say you have a BDC anywhere. IF that is the case, you may as well make
the Exchange server a BDC as well since you are playing with fire without one.

Most of the phones can accept SMTP messages, and I could enter
[EMAIL PROTECTED] as the address to receive alerts, but if
my mail server were to go down, this would be useless. Hence the reason I'm

I'm having a problem achieving my own email box. I get the following

David. Some items could not be copied. They were either moved or
deleted, or access was denied.
I check permissions on the server and locally through
Exchange 5.5 SP3, NT4, 6a. I submitted this question earlier today-thanks
to those that provided ideas. After further troubleshooting, the situation
has changed slightly so I am asking again. When ANY normal users login to
OWA they get an error message saying failed to connect to Microsoft
That happened to me before. It was a couple corrupted e-mails. I tracked
them down and deleted them and archiving worked fine ever since.
