1) No licensing required to use a Blackberry with BIS connecting to your
Exchange servers using OWA / IMAP / POP. We have no policy against this at all
- OWA is open to god knows what internet cafe / airport / spyware infested
machines so no point in stopping at Blackberrys and other devices.

In the past we have allowed users to connect thier blakberries to BES
but they had to buy their own BES license. Anyone can buy a single
enterprise license for abou $60 from www.cdw.com It was theirs to take
with them if they ever left the company.

1. My AT&T wireless connection at home is marginal.
2. I have to support WiFi connected users in our stores (we plan to give
them WiFi only connected BBs) .

In a large financial organization like the one I work for, we have around 9000
blackberry devices. No windows mobile or EAS since the Security folks won't
approve it. (Can't block SMS, 3rd party messaging, etc)
