1) No licensing required to use a Blackberry with BIS connecting to your Exchange servers using OWA / IMAP / POP. We have no policy against this at all - OWA is open to god knows what internet cafe / airport / spyware infested machines so no point in stopping at Blackberrys and other devices. 2

We have a couple of BES - only company owned BBs allowed on BES. Authorized users are provided a token which (in addition to AD credentials) allows access to OWA via reverse proxy from browser - have never attempted this with a BB - I suspect (being a BES user) it would be less than satisfactor
