I'm trying to help a friend with a problem. He has some scripts on a
webserver, the problem is when ever the script runs and it needs to
write to a file, it deletes the content of the file(s). Anyone got any

I found that too (default, kde, failsafe) and in my case, default was Gnome,
kde would start failsafe, and failsafe would start failsafe. I looked as my
new .Xclients and it had "exec gnome-session" in it so I changed it to "exec

On Mandrake's website, for each rpm update, it states to use rpm -Fvh
*.rpm
If you use that for a large quantity of rpm files, as I just tested, it
works just fine.

a seperate package - everything else went in OK... I did notice the KDM problem
(only KDE, default and failsafe) but havn't had time to play with it (I use KDE

you may need to re-run grub so that it recognizes the changes. I'd read the

This is very weird. Lopster works fine but... I cannot *share* any file! I
have tried directories with mixed files, directories with only MP3s... same
