with the server, there are 3 option to boot:
linux-secure (default)
linux
failsafe
when i just choose linux everything boot, then
i get the message Welcome To Mandrake Linux 9.0
then Starting DevFs

input pipe from /dev/console in a script I run after resuming my

update for example the rpm-4.0.4-19mdk.i586.rpm-package.

The problem I have is that X-windows disappears for few seconds (like switching to a
text console, or going into suspend mode) and then it returns. None of the running
processes
seems to be affected

console (ALT-Ctrl-F1) quite often. midnight commander (mc) is very useful
in this context, and it has always worked ok with previous versions of
mandrake.

Because that filesystem also can be mount as iso9660.
I have tried to put the udf before the iso9660 in the

USB Handspring Visor to work with Evolution. I can get it to work with
pilot-xfer and kpilot (I have symlinked /dev/ttyUSB1 to /dev/pilot).

However, for a really Cool screensaver, check out KEuphoria... (try
kde-look.org.) It rocks (IMO), but only if you've got GPU power to burn.

default loaded. I just checked my 8.2 box and it didn't have the /dev/loop
either. I did a modprobe loop and bam... there they are, so it is much more
simple than I anticipated. My guess is that it will work on the 9.0 box
