Ok... here's the situation, I have an IBM Thinkpad 760XD with Windows NT4
installed. I would like to install Mandrake7.1 on it. Can I use the
installer's partition utility to repartition my hard drive without wiping
out my current NT data?

I have been trying to get my Zip Zoom ISA card to work under Mandrake 7.1.
The 7.1 installer does not detect it at all, anyone know how to get this to

I'm working on a little project for Win32 and Linux called Logic-M. It's a
front-end for the MAME arcade emulator and I'm using Glade/GTK and Visual
Basic6 to create it. The problem I'm running into is creating my splash
screen. In VB, I can simply place a .bmp file in my form, Glade, however

I was thinking that I might want to do a bit of web browsing from that
machine. Also, FreeSCO only allows me to hook up 2 pc's directly. I do have

I just inherited a couple of Artist Graphics Artist200i-2mb cards from my
job (we were throwig 'em out, brand new) and was wondering if anyone has
ever used one successfully with Linux? If not, I'll try to write an XF4
driver for it, but it'll take a while.

If it's a Savage4 based card, it will work. You won't have any 3D
accelleration, but 2D is fine. I have a Savage4 in my box.

None really. For me it just took FOREVER to do the upgrade. Somewhere
around 3hrs where it only took 15min to install the thing!

I'm looking for info that will help me port a few dos game emulators (NES,
Super NES, Arcade machines, ect...) to Linux. What I'm looking for
specifically is info on programming for xfree86 unless there is a better
