The CW Skimmer offset you are reporting seems unusual but not out of the
realm. For default PowerSDR settings, it will be 9600. 9000Hz for the
software "IF" offset used plus 600Hz for the CW tone offset. Is it
possible you have your CW offset set to 725Hz?

7. CAT compatability with loggers...is this going to use the same
FLEX 5K protocol or something totally different where software authors
are going to have to add another radio script?
Thanks!

So the new software has built-in skimmer capability to decode 7 bands
of CW, RTTY and/or PSK and push the call signs to the appropriate spot
on the viewable waterfall/spectrum and telnet ability to push the
spots to your logging program.

Is there a way to have the radio to where I can command it to turn on remotely?
I need to be able to turn the radio on or off from remote locations. I am not
referring to starting the radio, but to powering it on so that the computer
sees the Flex...
Thanks,

I bet Flex has or, or plans to do, some market research to determine if it
is viable to develop an upgrade, accessory, or new product that is capable
of 600m. I imagine being first-to-market with a radio that can cover the
new band could be good for business.
