Glad tidings! I just got a 400 Mhz Lombard with DVD yet. I needed the sellers guidance but I found the Apple DVD player and was able to see a little of a Bond DVD. Now to hunt up a S-video cable and see what it looks like on the larger screen. The DVD drive is a Matshita "DVD-ROM SR-8171 rev 080E"

Does anyone know how to get S-video output on a Wallstreet under OS X (10.2.6 to be specific). I've tried waking from sleep and booting with the S-Video connection (actually a composite monitor and the WS S-video adapter). When booted in OS 9.2.2 it works fine. Under X there is no sign of it

Does anyone else have these problems? Sounds flickers in and out, random display cutouts resulting in going to sleep for a few seconds, coming back, and going to sleep again. Only way to fix this is to reboot. I just want to know if anyone else has had this kind of problem and what the fix is.
