Lombard speed-up/optimization

Hello, I have a Lombard 333mhz with 128mb ram, 4.3gb I am currently running Mac OS 9.2.2 on it, and it runs very well. I have tried a Mac OS 10.3.5 panther install, but it was fairly sluggish to use. I am thinking of trying out Mac OS 10.0.4 or 10.1.5. Does anyone have any speedup/optimization t

Well, if both printers are serial, then you would not be able to use them in OS X, unless you get a USB to serial adapter like the Belkins' one.
