I have installed OO 1.1 from OpenOffice.org not from the portage. If I
in Gnome 2.4 click on a OO document it ask with witch program it schould
open this file, so i choose swriter and so on. Now after cliking on the
files opens it but also a blank file. How can i avoid this ?

Changing the priv's dit not help and i got a lot spam harvest, so i dit
a backup of .spamasssin and delete the ' bayes_seen' 'bayes_toks' files
tried it again and all works fine again.

client have to run shfs, and that SSH only will not be enough?

I have a strange USB/Gnome problem. It all started after reinstalling my
laptop.
If i mount my digital camera in Gnome 2.4 and browse to the folder where
the images are my laptop just freezes.
If i do the same without Gnome loaded, all works fine and i can copy the
images to the hard drive.
Well if you want two servers to access the same data, you need to store
that data on external disks. Install cluster software so that if server
one goes down server two can access that data.
This is all theorie. I have no idee how to do it in "real life" for

A few weeks ago I have ask this question but there was no answer, after
googling for more than 2 weeks i'm still looking for a 'real migration
report' I need this information because I have to write a paper about
how to migrate a windows company to linux, for my school to get my
degree in IT.
I had also no problem with my digital camera (USB2) until i used
gentoo-sources-r7, from then i can mount, but if i go into any dirs my
machine compleetly hangs. But with USB-mass drives no problems. it seems
only with vfat.

Hi,
i needed to reinstall laptop and have now some problems with my mail delivery.
I have this setup:
fetchmail - postfix - amavis - procmail.
Before erasing the computer a have backup all config files of fetchmail, postfix,
promail.
But now i get this error:
