I, also, add my gratitude to Rachel, Marci, Lisa, Dina and Kathy for planning
the conference. Only a few weeks ago I was exited when I went over the
preliminary schedule and the joint programs with ALA . While I was
disappointed when the Board had to make this tough decision I understood
I add my thanks to Heidi. We need to gear our reports to those that read them
(or are supposed to read them).
I have learned a new word from the librarian Henry in the book THE TIME
TRAVELER’S WIFE. He says: “ I speak librarish”. Our language is not obvious to
Board members. For example:
It will be a nice addition to the Bibliography bank (which I have created with
Toby Rossner in 2002/3).
