I'd really like something from valve that didn't require me to run
third-party software. SourceMM is just one more thing that'll crash my

Intel / AMD CPUs, with and without HT, Dual Core and Other functionality,

Problem is with mpsafenet. It seems the linux emulation layer is
having a problem on close() with mpsafenet turned on.
Add "debug.mpsafenet=0" in /boot/loader.conf and it will fix it.
Performance will be reduced slightly (game server hosting people
won't notice it anyways)

updater...re download the updater and reinstall. I highly doubt
it is an OS issue.

Well this is quite an annoying problem, and seams hard to work around. When
I try and execute ./steam returns the error Segmentation Fault. I have
downloaded other versions and versions from other machines.

the linux base, oh and I have a quick question for Alfred or whoever
may know this, when someone "rcon quit" 's the server in HLDS, it
seems to use a different method than SRCDS, because the script does in
fact function on HLDS in
Might want to just check u do have a compatible linux_base
installed, we use linux_base-8 ( redhat 8 based ).
Not sure if u can download a more up to date version of the
update tool. If not shout Im sure someone can host it for u.
