You can execute a IEBGENER to force an open/close and set the DSORG to PS. DFHSM will then be able to backup the data set and then you can migrate it to ML2. You can always issue a migrate to ML1 after you perform the GENER and DFHSM will handle everything from that point on. I would recomm
