I would doubt there is any reason to use SWA=BELOW unless someone is chasing the TIOT(?) chain using logic that was invalidated w/MVS/ESA. I once has an application program that choked on this. A relatively small source code change to use RDJFCB, instead of chaseing the chain resolved the issue.
