I've been monitoring it and there are more questions and speculation
than answers.
The best thing to do is to bug PWD about it (which I exactly what I
intend to do).

As for the link error: in the past, OSA/SF installed a stupid PROFILE
EXEC that tries to link to non-standard minidisk addresses. No need to
a MAINT 19A for example. I don't know if this is better in z/VM V5.

Is there some way for a rexx subroutine to simulate an HX? ie I don't
want the called procedure to return to its caller, but execution of the
whole program to halt as if HX had been entered.

time of the real 3390's, we might be seeing 3350 mod 81's instead.
Had MVS been able to cope with FBA, rather. FBA was plenty popular
with the
non-MVS crowd. Also, wasn't 3350 CKD? 3370 was FBA, but I thought
there was
one earlier that was at least pseudo-FBA.
