The option is in mythfrontend settings not in

I then tried to play an mp3 with xmms and there was no sound. I have
the RCA cables from the tvout hooked to my tv. Im running gnome and

Latest is bundled in Chris's latest release and use
the latest driver as well. There is definately scope
for reducing the cpu usage a bit more.
It will be a couple of weeks at least before i get to

I guess I have to test the latest developments. But as far I as
understand, the Xv works well only with 0.3 series of drivers. I have a
quite stable set up at the moment, and I do not feel like experimenting a
lot as I don't have much spare time.

Our attention has moved to making the Xdriver

Since 0.2.0-rc1a release, for which Kevin created a beta of xine plugin for
PVR350, there has not been a word about any work on the plugin. Is there
any prospect of a xine plugin that would use the MPEG2 decoder of the
PVR350? My machine is too weak to decode MPEG2 streams using CPU.

It all depends what you want.
0.10.4 will (should) work with 0.2 driver but won't
enable Xv support (this needs latest 0.3 ivtv). At
that point the 0.10.4 driver will behav exactly like
the 0.8 driver so there is no advantage changing from
the driver bundled with 0.2.
